The Cape Buffalo is the largest and the darkest of the African buffalos, a most excellent game animal and sometimes dangerous, especially when wounded. This huge trophy was taken in the Masailand of northern Tanzania. He boasts an amazing 46-inch wide outside spread and giant thick heavy bosses measuring 16⅛ x 16 inches across. The mount measures 36½ inches from the wall to the tip of the nose, and 37½ inches high, with excellent taxidermy quality.
