The Kermode Bear is the rarest of the many color phases of the American Black Bear. Found along the northwest coast of British Columbia it has a yellowish-white color, but bears a different recessive trait in its gene pool than the true albino Black Bear. As a result, they are extremely hard to find on the open market. This example exhibits good taxidermy quality, has all the necessary legal paperwork and is of average size, measuring 59 inches from nose to tail and 61 inches feet across from paw to paw, backed with cream felt. This Lot cannot be sold to California State residents.
