    Dear Friend-

As you can see I have back trailed into the land of sagebrush and soap weed, a country which I savvy much better than I do that evergreen country of the Pacific. Please accept this letter as a token of my appreciation of many nice things your done for me, while in your large and beautiful city, Seattle on the Sound. Thanking you again I bag to remain.

    Sincerely your friend,
