Dr. Ana Echegoyen (also spelled Eghegoyen) was an educator and leader in Cuba's social and civic movements. A long-standing professor of pedagogy at the University of Havana, she founded La Asociación Cultural Femenina.
Condition Report*:
Ink on paper drawing adhered to a paper mat with handwritten script in ink. 2 x 4 in. calendar lithograph adhered lower center. Scattered areas of water damage, including to the right side if the paper mat extending into the sheet by 4 inches. the mat has been reinforced thus repairing several tears including: Three, 1 1/2 inch tears along the right side of the mat, and a 1 inch tear along the left edge. Adhesive stain to mat sheet in the upper left corner. Toning throughout. Scattered creasing throughout.
