    NOTE:
    This work is accompanied by a letter from the artist to Bernard and Rebecca Reis stating, "To my friends the Reis - Becky & Bernard - as they have nothing from the Dada period 1916. Here is one authentical! Love, Friedl + Hans Richter / Xmas N.Y. 54"


    Condition Report*: Sheet is hinged to mount at top corners verso; overall paper discoloration; light surface residue along the edges, most notably at the top right extreme edge; a few soft handling creases; one tiny tear at the lower right extreme edge under mat, with two notable tears repaired on the reverse with adhesive; a couple spots of light foxing. Matted to 12.5 x 10. Not framed. The separate letter is on a piece of cardboard, discolored and stained slightly, commensurate with age - measures 9.25 x 7.25 inches.
