The present work is a wonderful example of E.H. Shephard's ability to capture the humor and personality of the author's whimsical characters. Winnie the Pooh and his friends have warmed the hearts of generations of children across the world. The work is published on page 29 of A.A. Milne's book, The House at Pooh Corner in Chapter II, "In which Tigger Comes to the Forest and has Breakfast."

Estimate: $30,000 - $50,000.

Condition Report*: Not framed. Adhesive lined the edges of the work, verso. Pinholes in the lower corners. Matt burn. Scattered areas of surface staining, most notable in the lower left quadrant.
