    This composition was also utilized by the artist for the Comedy mural at the New German Theatre in New York, 1908. According to Studio Talk magazine this image is 'one of his finest achievements. In them Mucha has reached the maturity of this artistic powers of expression."

    Condition Report*: Light overall paper discoloration with spots of minor staining; paper and board loss along edges, most notably in upper and lower right corners as well as a few cracks and pinholes, only visible when unframed; framed under glass.
