    Twelve Emilia Castillo Silver, Silver Gilt, Copper, Brass and Hardstone Ornaments: The Twelve Days of Christmas, Taxco, Mexico, 2014
    Marks: Emilia Castillo 5/12, EMILIA CASTILLO, STERLING (in dove), 925
    5-1/4 inches high (13.3 cm) (each)

    The twelve ornaments of silver and silver gilt mounted on patinated copper tree-form bases with brass details, all with red ribbons for hanging and created in a limited edition of twelve sets. As anticipated, the ornaments comprise: a Partridge in a Pear Tree, Two Turtle Doves, Three French Hens, Four Calling Birds, Five Golden Rings, Six Geese-a-Laying, Seven Swans-a-Swimming, a Maid-a-Milking, a Lady Dancing, a Lord-a-Leaping, a Drummer Drumming, and a Piper Piping. This set is the fifth of an edition of twelve sets, in its original fabric storage box bearing silver label reading Emilia Castillo.
