DescriptionTwo Dan Carved Wood Masks
Two masks carved in classical style and well patinated, but with no real signs of age or use in the interiors.
Though carved early, these two masks (carved by the same hand) do not show signs of use or wear from handling. Rather than being larger examples of the typical personal charm mask, such as a mask owned by a family or moiety, these are probably early but fine examples made for the trade to the missionaries or Firestone workers in Liberia before WWII.
Heights: 13 inches each
