In this iconic painting, Florence McClung depicts the 1930 Dallas skyline. A somewhat unusual departure for an artist most famous for her romanticized paintings of rural Texas, McClung has applied her regionalist style to a famous cityscape with spectacular results. This highly sought after painting is a very special opportunity for all Texas art collectors, particularly those with close ties to Dallas. McClung began painting in the early 1920s, when she studied with Frank Reaugh, Olin Travis, Frank Klepper, and Alexander Hogue, before training at several institutions across the country.
