The majority of both pieces are silver-plated, with only the crossbars near hinges marked 900; larger case with monogram to reverse.
Interiors to both in poor condition with damage to mirrors and mirror silvering, verdigris and spot pitting, other residue, crossbars marked 900 and appear to be the only elements with silver content.
