The match safe with reeded border with ribbons cartouche within C-scroll and shell frame to either side, monogrammed AJMS, gilt interior, match strike to bottom; the shaped safe with repoussé rose blossoms on a sinuous ground with small cartouche to either side, match strike to bottom; the safe with repoussé scrollwork around a lozenge-form cartouche with reclining woman and putti to either side, bale loop to top, match strike to bottom.
Slight push to the body of the second safe, pin dents to the corners; dent to the corners of the third safe, otherwise with surface wear and scratches indicative of age, use and polishing.
