    The rectangular case with translucent violet enamel over a turned ground with radiating diamond within tightly-turned borders, surrounded by an opaque white enamel stringing, bezel-set amethyst cabochon thumb press to the side, opening to a gilt interior with celluloid writing tablet and pencil (integrated into the hinge), a mirrored in front of a compartment with a spring-loaded holder, bale loops to top continue to a black braided cord.

    Cord is likely of a later vintage, minor scratches to the enameled surface, small losses to the opaque white stringing, a small crack and wear to the celluloid plaque indicative of use, light spotting to the mirror, otherwise with surface scratches indicative of age, use, and polishing.
