    The hinged ovular box adorned with translucent light-blue enamel panels over engine-turned and scattered pellet ground to the lid, sides, and base, within borders composed of raised opalescent enameled beading (simulating seed opals) and foliage on a sablé ground, lid is centered with an enameled harbor scene painted in violet en camaïe on an opalescent oyster-pink ground.

    Condition Report*:

    There are minor light scratches to the inset paited plaque, a few scattered small, light scratches to the translucent enameled panels, a few of the opalescent enameled beads have been replaced around the foot, otherwise with light surface scratches to the exposed gold elements indicative of age and use, presents well.
