The slightly tapered cylindrical liner with applied cast shell lifts to rim, shaped interior rim, engraved with the crest of a son of George III; a ducal crown above the motto of the Order of the Garter HONI SOIT QUE MAL Y PENSE (shame upon him who thinks evil upon it) ringing a crowned lion passant guardant upon a ducal crown.
