The baluster-form silver gilt ewer separated by a central silver band to body, the gilt top with hinged lid and silver figural finial of a lady seated on a dolphin-form, over the waisted neck, shoulder issuing shaped gilt handle and with silver frieze of lions, flowering urns, and mask medallions of a female crowned with grapes and leaves, the gilt base with silver beaded border and applied wrapped with snake, raised on a circular foot with stylized foliate rim.
In nice condition, with small hole to top of foot, light pin point denting to body, general surface wear, rubbing to gilt and scratching commensurate with age.
