    The pair of egg-shaped wine jugs, on stepped dome foot with chased repoussé diaper pattern alternating with female masks, lobed knob to body with applied overlays at base and top of stylized leaves connected with reeded strap crowned with mask, tapered neck to spout with cast and applied rim of scrolls and acanthus leaves and applied mask in cartouche below spout, cast scrolled handle with draped classical female and figure of Bacchus with grapes.

    fine surface scratches, while minor, one of the jugs has thee crease dents and three pin head dents to one of three side panels, and one crease dent to a second panel
