    Silver-mounted inkwell with hallmarks for John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham, 1903, and chromed pocket watch;
    Mirrored frame with reticulated sterling silver grating over leather, with hallmarks for Henry Matthews, Birmingham, 1895.

    Condition Report*:

    Watch may be of a later vintage than inkwell, cover to pocketwatch with scuffing and apparently stuck in closed position, some fleabiting to ridges of inkwell, very small flakes missing to underside, leather to frame with some wear and scuffing, cartouche to mirror frame engraved Mary and with denting, top and corner of grating to frame slightly loose, bubbling to mirror backing, minor scratching to mirror surface, other minor warping to grating, with wear commensurate with age and use.
