    The epergne surmounted by round cut-glass bowl with sixteen-point floriform rim, reeded standard with elongated and everted pebbled acanthus leaf detailing to capital and base, four candlestick arms with removable bobeches exhibiting conforming drooping leaf design and reeded standards, raised on four-sided pyramidal base framed to each side in scroll and acanthus leaf motif, terminating on four scrolled feet, epergne with retailer's mark R BROOK & SON, POULTRY.

    Note: Base, arms, bobeches, candlecups, and standard are all hallmarked.

    Condition Report*:

    Light pin dents to base, cartouches remained unengraved, one arm sits loose due to englarged attachment hole at base, glass bowl with light fleabiting, small flaking to two points of bowl, very minor bending to arms, one arm with dent near foliage, otherwise presenting well with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
