According to the Gorham Archives, production of 13-piece ice cream service set (12 plates and 1 tureen) began in 1909 (no specific date was recorded) and required 48 hours to produce (individual maker was not recorded), plus an additional 408 hours of chasing by Otto Colmetz. The final price was $540.00.
Light scuffing to undersides, one plate with two areas of scratching accompaniedy by wavines, with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing and use.
