    20-1/4 inches high (51.4 cm)

    The vase in reverse pyriform shape with wavy everted rim, sterling silver body in Art Nouveau-style flowers and stems adorning upper body, three scrolled bronze handles emanating from base upwards terminating on figured leaf mounts to upper body, lower bronze base with floral, scroll, and acanthus leaf ornamentation.

    Similar examples to the present lot were manufactured by Mauser around 1904 for prizes awarded at the Eleventh National Irrigation Congress.

    Condition Report*:

    Replaced pins to handles, bronze base appears to have been lacquered at one time and exhibits remnants of lacquer, scattered rubbing to bronze, light nicking to rim, otherwise with surface scratches commenusrate with age, polishing, and use.
