The urn-form samovar surmounted by a sphinx finial above the domed lid, flanked by angular scroll handles with applied ball decoration, engraved diamond and foliate decoration below the neck and throughout the body, inscribed R.W.P. from H.W.P. above the spout and a chased lion rampant to verso, fluted spigot with handle issuing spikes to either side and four applied S-scrolls joining at an applied ball, all raised on a burner stand with angular Greek Key feet with applied ball decoration and X-form burner stretcher.

Light pin dents to the lid, otherwise with surface scratches commensurate with age.
