    Jones Shreve & Brown: AN AMERICAN COIN SILVER CHINOISERIE HOT MILK JUG (Mark of Jones Shreve & Brown)
    Mark of Jones Shreve & Brown, c.1850

    Parcel gilt with round body with tapering cylindrical neck, hinged lid and goose neck spout, the finial a seated chinoiserie figure, stylized rope handle attached with ivory insulators, engraved Greek key band at mid body with upswept acanthus leaf engravings rising from the base, mounted on a circular base, marked underside
    10in. high, 26.9oz
