    Each pitcher of baluster-form, everted lip, S-scroll handle with acanthus leaf thumb rest, the body with repoussé flowering vines, a textured acanthus leaf and alternating fan-forms issuing from the stepped circular foot; each monogrammed EA Jan.1.1850 within cartouche centering body. Originally retailed by Ball, Tompkins & Black, New York, New York.
