The hemispherical bowl with vertical bands of cast and applied stylized tomato or pumpkin decoration.
The design for this bowl was introduced at Tiffany & Co.'s 1940 display located in the House of Jewels at the New York World's Fair. Though undocumented, the design is attributed to Tiffany's Norwegian staff designer Olag Wilford who in 1937 created a flatware pattern with the same decoration.
