The rectangular compact with chased repoussé cat, its ear extending above and tail below case, garnet set eyes and bow continuing to back, two loops attached to top secure chain, two garnet set push buttons open to silver gilt interior, interior with three compartments, one with a spring swing arm and two with hinged covers, case bears French import marks.
