The bowl decorated by subtle hammer marks and stylized vegetal elements that form the base atop a circular foot.

The Louvre bowl named after the acquisition of an example by Musée des Arts Décoratifs at Musée du Louvre in 1914, is one of Georg Jensen's best known designs. This example, made between 1925 and 1932, reveals Jensen's combination of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau styles.
