    The group of three floral studies comprising a Prickly Currant plant with coral fruit set with pearl centers on 18 karat gold stems and jade leaves set within a cylindrical rock crystal base; a Gooseberry plant with amethyst fruit on 18 karat gold stems and jade leaves set within a bulbous rock crystal base; and a Buffalo Berry plant with coral fruit and crystal blooms with diamond centers on 18 karat gold stems and jade leaves set with tapering rock crystal base. Purchased by Malcolm Forbes from Cartier's New York shop on Fifth Avenue at 52nd Street.


    Condition Report*: Prickly Currant:  significant chipping to bottom of rock crystal base, possibly missing fruit and leaves; Gooseberry:  minor chipping to bottom of rock crystal base;  Buffalo Berry:  minor chipping to bottom of rock crystal base.
