An Imperial Russian Silver And Nephrite Kovash
Maker unknown, c.1909

The green and mottled black nephrite boat mounted with a silver stern decorated with engraved waves near the foot, a bird head at the end with engraved feathers, on top of the stern a male figure in Russian dress holds the tiller, the front of the stern is inscribed in Cyrillic with the presenter's name D. A. Strilov & Co., the back of the stern is inscribed in Cyrillic with To Yosif Mikhailovitsch Gavrilovitch/in good memory
