    AN AMERICAN SILVER STAG HEAD VASE
    Mark of Gorham, Providence, Rhode Island, c.1865

    A round base surmounted by a bullet shaped body terminating in a narrow neck and wide lip, the body applied with two cast stag heads and engraved on both sides, "1843 April 20th 1868" and "Mrs. S. Spooner from Mrs. D. S. Bennett," Gorham coin silver marks, marked on base
    6in. high, 4.59oz
