The round domed platform engraved with a stylized floral pattern, raised on three rectangular feet, supports a figural stem with three Mannerist Sphinx and applied wreath decoration to the top, the gilt lined low wide bowl with three grotesque masks to the rim, two monograms to the sides, one CIC1868 and the other BIG 1904, total weight 56.4 troy ounces, hallmarks to the underside
