The candlesticks personifying the four seasons, each with stepped base, the upper rim of the base with masks alternating with cartouche framing reclining figures continuing to strap-work band below four lion masks extending from acanthus leaves, standing figure upon base supports nozzle adorned with four classical scenes centered by four applied ram's heads, of the four standing figures two draped female figures represent summer and spring holding a flower garland, two male figures represent fall holding grapes and a goblet with a grape vine wound around his waist, and winter with a beard and long flowing hair, his waist wrapped in an animal skin, removable bobeche with palmettes engraved to bowl.
