The lot comprising:
Large flask engraved with racing scene to front signed to cartouche E. Montaut (Ernest Montaut, French 1879-1909) and engraved Jenatzy sur Mercedes, Vainqueur de la Coupe, Gordon Bennett - 1903, fluid capacity of 128 ounces;
Tiffany & Co. sterling oil can (3-7/8 inches high), (1.28 troy ounces).
Condition Report*:
Errant scratching, pin dents, and scuffing to flask, some wear to shoulders to flask, scattered light dimples to flask, errant nicking, with wear commensurate with age, polishing, and use. Heritage does not guarantee watertightness of flasks.
