The two silver entrée dishes of rectangular form, the base with gadrooned rim and engraved to either side a crest with motto VIRTUTE above monogram, conforming domed cover with detachable handle with lion masks framed by a gadrooned band, engraved coat of arms below handle, stepped rim of cover with gadrooned band, the whole set within fitted silver-plated two-handled base with gadrooned rim, chevron design to legs terminating in lion's paw feet, legs connected by beaded shaped stretcher, double silver-plated liner; the lower dish with gadrooned body and the upper with wide flange to accommodate silver covered dish. Each silver entrée dish with full marks, the lids and handles with partial marks, one example with handle, cover and two liners marked 1, the second with the same marked 2.
