Description
A PAIR OF JAMES DIXON & SONS VICTORIAN SILVER EPERGNESJames Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, England, circa 1899-1900
Marks: (lion passant), (crown), JD & S, g, E5994

94.79 troy ounces
The two epergnes on four legs with shell foot and three removable reticulated baskets lifted on scrolling arms, baskets with foliate design framing four heart-shape cartouches, addorsed scroll and blossom rim, second epergne with date letter for 1913-1915.
Condition Report*:
later epergne does not sit squarely, with surface scratches to central lozenge shape base of bowl, general surface scratches commensurate with age
