    A Mark J. Scearce 14K Gold Mint Julep Thoroughbred Horse Race Trophy Cup: The Bewitch Stakes, Shelbyville, Kentucky , circa 1969-1974
    Marks: MARK J. SCEARCE, SHELBYVILLE KENTUCKY, (eagle), RMN, II, 14K
    3-7/8 inches high (9.8 cm)
    6.02 troy ounces

    The cup in satin finish with beaded rim and base, engraved to front KEENLAND, THE BEWITCH STAKES, 1975, PINK JADE, in original fitted green leather case with green velvet interior, Scearce mark embossed to underside.

    The Bewitch Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race, hosted annually in April since 1962, at the Keenland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. The 1975 race fielded the largest amount of competitors in the race's history at 12 horses. Pink Jade won the race by a head.
