    PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE SANTA FE COLLECTION

    The center bowl having downswept undulating rim with pebbled egg-and-dart variant border, body with repoussé swirling floral and foliage motif, cartouche to front engraved Bloodgood, plain tapering standard with conforming repoussé decoration below, raised on rounded base with reeded decoration to border.

    Note: This piece displays an extra lion passant mark to denote sterling content. This is a mark that Bailey & Kitchen developed to denote sterling wares beginning in 1855, when George Sharp supervised the company's silver department.


    Condition Report*: Minor pin dent to rim, minor nicking to underside at base, with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing and use.
