    A Froment-Meurice Silver Turkish Coffee Pot, Paris, France, circa 1880
    Marks: (Minerva), FROMENT-MEURICE
    11-1/4 inches high (28.6 cm)
    26.61 troy ounces

    The coffee pot with all over acid-etched arabesque decoration with chased vermicelli patterning to the recessed areas, surmounted by a turned foliate finial above a hinged, domed lid, cast spout with applied strapwork and S-scroll handle with foliate decoration, raised on a reticulated arabesque patterned, shaped foot, chased coat-of-arms to the front.

    Condition Report*: Light rubbing to the vermecelli patterning to the neck, pin dent to the underside, lid does not sit flush, otherwise with surface scratches commensurate with age.
