The baluster-form service comprising a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar, creamer and waste bowl with a gilt interior, each surmounted by a intersecting scrolling foliate finial above domed lid with chased foliate decoration, C-scroll handles with foliate thumb rest, stylized foliate banded border to the high waist, above cartouche with chased repoussé and stippled foliate and floral decoration, each cartouche centering a different medallion portrait, each raised on a stepped circular foot, monogrammed L.G.
