    A FIVE PIECE MAPPIN & WEBB VICTORIAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE
    Mappin & Webb, Ltd., London, England, circa 1891-1892
    Marks to coffee pot: (lion passant), (leopard's head), J.N.M., Q, MAPPIN & WEBB LONDON
    9-5/8 inches high (24.4 cm) (coffee pot)
    122.04 troy ounces (including non-silver material)

    The pyriform service comprising a coffee pot, teapot, creamer, sugar and hot water kettle with stand, each with chased repoussé of conforming curvilinear lines to body, rim with bound bands, shaped fluted foot, segmented C-form handles to coffee pot, teapot and hot water kettle, stand raised on four cabriole legs ending in foliate feet; each monogrammed within scroll enclosed cartouche.

    Condition Report*: Missing finial to lid of teapot, general wear and few spots of repair commensurate with age. Note: Because this item contains African elephant ivory, this item can only be sold within the United States.
