The set comprising a pie server with scrolling chased blade, a serving spoon with pointed gilt bowl and sugar sifter with pierced shell-form gilt bowl, each with cylindrical segmented handle with spade-form terminal having three berry branches, in original fitted box; each inscribed March 4 1845 M March 4th 1870. Originally retailed by Harry R. Smith, Cincinnati, Ohio.
