A Gorham Lady's Pattern Coin Partial Gilt Silver Preserve Spoon in Fitted Case, Providence, Rhode Island, designed 1865
Marks: (lion-anchor-G), PAT. APPL. FOR, GEO. C. SHREVE & CO.

2.46 troy ounces

The preserve spoon monogrammed WGa. Originally retailed at Shreve & Co., San Francisco, California. In original fitted leather case with a satin and velvet interior, inscribed GEO. C. SHRVE & CO., 525 MONTGOMERY ST., SAN-FRANCISCO.

Condition Report*: Light rubbing of the gilding to the edges of the bowl, heavy rubbing to the details of the gloved hand, a small nick to the handle, otherwise with surface wear commensurate with age.
