George Louis Kobbé, born June 1, 1881, graduated cum laude from Harvard in 1903, Columbia Law School in 1906, and went on to practice law. He died May 1, 1954 as a partner in the New York law firm Kobbé, Thatcher & Frederick (The New York Time, Monday May 3, 1954, page 25).
