    Inkstand in the form of a classical sarcophagus supported by four winged beasts with ball in claw foot, resting on plinth with two wells for writing tools, engraved with spread wings and resting on four cast scrolled feet, lid mounted with sphinx opening to expose square well and two round wells with glass inserts, engraved to lid PRESENTED TO Mr. Michael Lawrenson of Killinure, BY EARL FITZWILLIAM FOR , For the best Cultivated Farm of the first Class, 1866.

    Condition Report*: Significant fine surface scratches to plinth.  One of the glass liners has loss to the rim. Solder evident on bottom, but no sign of repair to outter surface.
