    The desk set in rectangular geometric form, central welled pen rest above hinged floor, hinged floor held in place with nuts to underside allowing for the insert of calendar or note paper, flanked by two ink blotters, raised on four bracket feet.

    Tiffany & Co. used the SPECIAL HAND WORK stamp to recognize the unique and exceptional quality pieces created by the firm during the early 20th century. This line of hand-raised silver was introduced in response to the popularity of labor-intensive silver objects during the Arts and Crafts Movement and is distinguished by use of heavy gauge silver.

Light upturning to frame to front right resulting in foot not resting flush on even surface, some scratching, three very small dents to reverse trim, otherwise presenting well with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
