Inscription: G. M. R. H., Feby. 16th 1887

Hand-hammered pitcher with naturalistic applied partial gilt lotus blossoms and engraved foliage wrapped around the body. Five deep repoussé graduated mounds descending below spout and four to interior of handle. Applied silver frog perched above pierced design on top of handle.
