    PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE SOUTHERN COLLECTION

    The pitcher having elongated neck with swirled foliate garland collar, bulbous rounded body with curved handles and foliate mounts to joints, applied frieze to body with a variety of allegorical figures and putti among foliage, terminating on circular ringed base, with unusual engraved female gender symbol enclosing K beneath spout.


    Condition Report*: Fair condition with scattered pin dents throughout, dents to collar above relief, severe waviness to exterior body below relief, unusual waviness to interior, nicks to rim and interior neck, bottom underside has bowed outwards, noticeable dent near relief and lower bowl, scattered denting, surface scratches commensurate with polishing, age and use.
