Set of twelve hand-hammered goblets of urn-shaped bodies with gilt interiors, chased fluting to lower body, raised on a stepped circular foot trimmed with gadrooned border.

Each engraved to body with the Duke of Wellington's (Wellesley Family) crest and motto, featuring out of a ducal crown a demi-rampant lion holding a forked pennon with the Cross of St. George over a ribbon inscribed with the motto VIRTUTIS FORTUNA COMES.
