    The pair of baluster-form casters, surmounted by screwed lids adorned with chrysanthemum finials, one lid gilt, scalloped and scrolled lips to elongated necks, collars with interspersed chrysanthemum blossoms and leaves in relief, some leaves reaching upwards, bulbous gadrooned panels to lower bodies with engraved crest depicting wolf figures and inscribed SI DIEU VEULT, (wolf and French phrase most commonly attributed to the Preston family) raised on figured foliate feet.

    Condition Report*: Two pin dents to gadrooned panels of one, pin dent and dime-sized dent to gadrooned panels to one, non-gilt lid firmly in place, with surface scratches commensurate with polishing, age and use.
