    American Presentation and Trophy Silver from the Collection of J.D. Parks

    The trophy with bronze arrowheads encircling body with inscribed award years ranging from 1910-1915, 1917, 1925-1926, and 1928-1931. Included with the lot is a copy of Donald M. Fisher's Lacrosse: A History of the Game, The John Hopkins University Press, 2002. The work mentions the trophy on page 102, "Colonel Robert M. Thompson, president of the New York A.C. supported the Public Schools Athletic League in New York City by donating a thirty-inch-tall silver and bronze trophy toped by an American Indian, seated on a rock, shielding his eyes with his left hand and holding a lacrosse stick across his lap."

    Condition Report*: Professionally restored, fine scattered surface scratches with some nicks along edges, few small shallow dents along edges of stepped base.
